Recommended fun and excitement in the Ardèche

What better way to come out of covid lockdown than a week of fun and excitement around the magnificent Ardeche?

Our children (9 and 13) and we enjoyed every activity, feeling both safe but challenged by the fun and interactive instructors leading our sessions. We had a fantastic, corona safe, week kayaking, rock climbing, abseiling, weaseling (which the kids loved) and on the high ropes course. In fact the Adventure Ardeche staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome at all times, and the individual touches were very special, such as the welcome pack, birthday bottle of bubbly, end of week bbq, cute wild boar piglet at the bivouac and amazing lightning storms in the evening (ok, maybe the last two were a bit lucky!).

2020 has certainly been a strange year, but our Ardeche adventure holiday will certainly always be our 2020 highlight – and hopefully what our children will remember the most in years to come. Incredible Journey!

What an amazing end to a fortnight in France, such an incredible experience. I cannot recommend this team highly enough, Jack, Hugo, Chris and Billie were immense, we could not have asked for anymore from the team.
The river on it's own is an incredible experience with the rapids being challenging enough without overwhelming an inexperienced Kayaker. The views are astounding everywhere you look but without doubt the team made the trip. We were well fed and looked after from the moment we arrived with all teams members going out of their way to make the trip as much fun as possible. Rock jumping, swimming rapids, swimming in caves, rare Eagles all made this an incredible river journey. Special thanks goes to Jack for the patience he showed in zig-zagging down the river with my family, truly was a trip never to be forgotten. I would recommend to anyone!
