Learn more about your retreat
You will arrive at your accommodation on Saturday, meet your fellow Yogi and your guide for the week, then the day is yours to relax.
On the first day we will be getting to know each other, there will be some guided meditation, and a introductory yoga session, to slowly ease you into the flow of things here in the beautiful Ardèche, we will do some group Yoga, and some activities, you can then relax, enjoy some stunning local food and watch the sunset.
On the second day you will be combining canoeing a section of the river stopping at beaches to meditate and do yoga this will finish with our riverside campsite, where we will spend a tranquil night with nature under the stars, You will arise with the sun in the morning refreshed and ready to face the day, we will then once again paddle the beautiful Ardèche river stopping on sun dappled beaches and releasing our inner yogi. Then we will return to our tent village for a yoga session to unwind tired muscles our evening meal and then a sunset meditation.
On the Fourth day we will be staying on site, and going through a number of yoga sessions and guided meditation, there will also be options to visit a local Market and pick up some local produce.
The Fifth day we will be going up into the mountains to walk and explore our beautiful area, along the way we will be stopping for guided meditation and yoga sessions
Our final day will be based on site again, and we will be consolidating all the yoga techniques we have been practicing during the week.
Ashtanga is a system of yoga that was brought to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. You will be led nonstop through one or more of the ashtanga series, while being encouraged to breathe as you move from pose to pose. Each series is a set sequence of asanas, always in the same order.
Dilys is a level one Yoga teacher. She trained in India at the Himalaya Yoga Valley School.
