EDUCATE, EXHILARATE & CHALLENGE

We have been providing a bespoke and professional service for over 25 years, offering exhilarating, challenging and educational activity holidays for schools and groups. Our program reinforces the importance of learning outside the classroom, incorporating language, geography, history, PE, citizenship, creativity, individual and collective responsibility, and social skills. Let us work together to provide the best adventure for you and your group.

Our Activities

The River Descent

The river Ardèche is the reason why most groups come to the area, and it’s hard not to see why. A 26 km river trip filled with whitewater, fun, sunshine, excitement, and smiles. That would be an amazing experience for most people, but we also combine that with a night under the stars, which makes for an unforgettable experience, not only for your group, but also for you, and your team.

High Rope Challenge

What’s that up in the sky? Is it a bird? Is it a plane?  No it’s your group having the time of their lives. We particularly love the high ropes courses, there is nothing more enjoyable than hearing happy voices high in the trees as your group safely navigate themselves through the routes as they increase in height and difficulty.

Gorge Trek

Gorge Trek

An eye opening chance for your group to take part in a UNESCO world heritage trek steeped in history, nature and culture! Your journey starts at the site of an infamous  World War Two battle, then follows the historic French resistance paths deep into the Ardèche gorge where you will watched over by nesting eagles, amongst other majestic animals. Your trek will take you along pathways  once used by the artists who created the oldest cave paintings in Western Europe! After crossing the mighty Ardèche without a boat… your group will arrive at the foot of the amazing Pont d’arc! and then there is only a short walk back to our riverside base.

Stand up Paddleboarding

Perhaps the coolest way to enjoy the river  ( I’m a bit biased) Stand Up Paddle Boarding has have a huge swell in popularity over the past few years, now it’s your chance to get out on the water on our ‘Sups ‘and have an amazing time learning a new set of skills.

Headstands… gotcha, step back turns? No way! Sup racing…. we got you!

Learn with our experienced, passionate Stand Up Paddle Boarding coaches, and see what the fuss is all about…

Orienteering

Orienteering

Orienteering makes an excellent introduction to practical map-reading and is an exciting way to get to know your surroundings on centre.

Guests work in small teams or in pairs to locate control points hidden in the local area. As it’s essentially a competitive activity, the idea is for your group to find all the controls more quickly than the others. The activity encourages decision-making, map reading and correctly judging distances.

Learn to Kayak

Before we set about on our two day river decent of the mighty Ardèche we ensure that everyone has completed an introduction to kayaking session, this will give your group all the necessary skills to navigate the multiple rapids they will encounter one their river decent adventure.

Evening program

After an adventure packed day, your Group Leaders have put together a fun packed evening activity program, for you and your group, the activities include the below :-

  • Team building activities
  • Wild swimming
  • Fun games
  • Star gazing
  • Multi sports
  • Disco

Meals

Your first meal with us would be the evening meal on the day of arrival and your last meal would be the evening meal on the day of departure.

Transport

With fuel prices increasing it is becoming harder for coach companies to provide accurate quotes far in advance of a trip. We can help organise your transport for you though and advice on how best to make this work.

  • A day out Canyonning
