Our riverside base is surrounded with a wealth of high quality accommodation, ranging from a 2* capsite only a short swim away…. to luxurious gites.

Where do you want to stay during your Ardèche holiday? The choice is huge, to make life easier for you we have a list of local accommodation providers, who we know.

 Within the local village of Salavas there are also a number of hotels and Sites that are available year round. we are also a short drive from Vallon, which has a selection of quality hotels and restaurants.

Campsites

Pequelet

Located right next door to our watersports base the Base du cros, this 3-star campsite has 60 pitches, 5 chalets, 16 mobile homes, 2 gites and 2 canvas bungalows. There is a swimming pool, a lively bar, grocery store, tennis courts, children’s games areas, a sports ground, of course being France you get table tennis and a boules piste.

Domaine de Blachas

This 40 acres site has a number of different accommodation options, from camping pitches to wooden cabins, there is so much on offer. An amazing restaurant with a stunning view over the gorge, a large swimming pool, its own private riverside access and only five minutes  walk from our watersports base The Base du Cros.

Camping le Clapas

Just a short ten minute walk from our watersports centre The Base du Cros, Salavas, Camping Le Clapas has a family friendly atmosphere and an authentic camping spirit. 85 camping pitches, a bar and shop on site, this is a great campsite with riverside access.

Camping le Chauxvieux

Camping Chauxviex is just one hundred metres from the Ardeche river and close to the town of Vallon Pont d’Arc. The campsite is family-orientated and the owners priority is the comfort of their guests, who seem to enjoy it because a lot of them have been coming back regularly since 1967

Hotels

Hotel Des Sites

Nestled in the heart of Salavas this colourful hotel is a short walk from the nightlife of Salavas and about a fifteen minute walk into Vallon, if you were so inclined you can also leave your car at the hotel and walk to our centre from here, it is about a fifteen minute walk through the old town. 

Hotel le Clos de Bruyere

A particular favourite of ours, Le Clos du Bruyere is a bit of a find, only a short walk into the town centre, the air conditioned rooms are bright and airy, the pool is very inviting after a day of exertion and the on site restaurant has the most amazing Veal.

Hotel le Belvedere

Set in in a unique site of calm serenity, the hotel has a relaxing, quiet atmosphere in the heart of the Ardèche Gorge. Whatever the reason for your holidays, here you’ll find everything you need to recharge the batteries: spacious rooms, a tasty restaurant, and extra-comfy beds.

Le Silex

If you want to stay near Pont d’Arc then you physically can’t get any closer than the Silex wine hotel, it’s actually built into the arc, this is possibly the most unique and exciting hotel in the area.

Gites

Mas du Tracol

Our very own Mas du Tracol is set in 20 acres of forest and is 10 minutes from the local town of Les Vans. there is a private pool with stunning views, a sauna, a romanie caravan,, ensuite rooms, and enough space for you and your family or group to relax and unwind in the peace and calm of the forest.




Gites les Trois Cigals

This Independent gite comes with and a great pool, just a short walk to our water sports base the Base du Cros. The gites have small kitchenettes with fridges, ovens and hobs for you to make yourself at home.

Gites les Bleuets

A short drive from our watersports base The Base du Cros you will find Les Bleuets., the property is made up of various facilities to enhance your stay. Two houses split into four gites with a capacity of 4 people per gite, equipped with a living room with kitchen area, a bedroom, a bathroom and a separate toilet as well as a private terrace.

Les Cigalous

A Village of gîtes ideally located a short drive from our watersports base the Base du Cros. Here you will find a large heated swimming pool, a beach volleyball court, a pétanque court, a trampoline, ping-pong tables, a Lounge bar, library area, reception room, Indoor and outdoor private car parks, free WiFi access and a laundry room.

Something a bit different

Les Etoiles de Provence

An incredible old farm house with yurt accommodation in its grounds. A fantastic swimming pool and a great place to relax and unwind after a full day out on activities. With private terraces, hot tubs and so much more to discover, this place really does have the WOW factor.

Mille Etoille

Camping Millie etoile has yurts and safari tents available. Great accommodation for those looking for something a little bit special. This is definitely more than camping, its a step up and being based on a very calm site in the middle of the nature reserve makes it all the more special.

Natura Lodge

This site is full of interesting accommodation and is a very green and eco friendly place to base yourself. There is a lovely large south facing terrace overlooking the old town of Barjac, which itself is named as one of France’s first Organic and pesticide free villages.

Pre- historic lodge

Not quite tents, not quite yurts, the Pre-historic lodge offers some really unique accommodation options. Based just up river from the UNESCO world heritage site of Pont d’arc, you can spend your evenings swimming in the river and looking out for beaver.
