Here at Adventure Ardèche we are all about the adventure. For us finding ways to get more people having more adventure in their lives is why we exist. That’s for our staff as well as our clients. In this past year our staff have been mountain biking, canyoning, white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, caving, and so much more.
We’ve run staff trips to rivers around france, to the Cevennes mountains, to canoe festivals, kayak festivals, slackline festivals….
Its so important to us that we help our staff to have their own big adventures. That’s why we exist. Increasing adventure for everyone…. We have a few different roles out in the Ardèche, so please do take a look and see what you think. We’re big on staff development, providing qualifications and funding for people to progress their own career path.
We are looking for people who can commit to working the full season from April – August with either experience of working in outdoor adventure or the passion and drive to learn new skills.

Our activity instructors run a varied programme. From climbing courses, to river trips with groups of adults. We are looking for people who have a passion for adventure, that are happy to work as part of a team.

We are looking for catering team members to support our operations in the south of France.
We are looking for catering assistants who are motivated and exited by the opportunity to spend a summer working in the south of France helping provide catering support for over 2000 unique adventurers.
As par of the catering team, you will play a crucial role in making sure that the right people have the right food in the right places at the right time. With meals to serve, picnic lunches to prepare and expedition food to organise, this role is one of the most important roles we are recruiting.
We are not looking for experience, though this is a big help, its more a state of mind, an ability to work hard and play hard, a willingness to get stuck in and do what it takes to get the job done. A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
We will provide you with all the training and support you need in order to make this a huge success and have a lot of fun at the same time.
The operations team has a critical mission to ensure to the smooth delivery of our services. Driving staff and equipment, food and supplies throughout our area of operation, this team is responsible for ensuring our adventures have the full logistical support they need.
Driving and maintaining our fleet of vehicles and trailers plays a large part of this role. Airport transfers, staff movements, equipment drop offs all form part of the driving that needs to take place.
Another part of the role is to ensure the set up and take down of our tented accommodation and to ensure the accommodation is in place for our guests.
Any other skills such as joinery, electrics, manual labour, could also prove very useful.

Our group leaders work on our schools’ programs. They are the face of Adventure Ardèche and the main point of focus for our teachers and pupils who visit us.
Are you a confident public speaker, fun, energetic and able to act professionally at all times? If so a group leader position with us this summer could be just what you are looking for.
From the moment the group arrives to the moment they leave, you will be the person that is there for them, providing them with memories that will last a lifetime.
You will have experience of dealing with large groups of students and also be confident in your approach with teachers and visiting staff.
You will work closely with the activity team, the operations team and the catering team so an ability to get on with people is crucial.
You will be responsible for running evening sessions and mealtimes with your group. In addition to this you may also accompany them on their 2-day river trip, their visits on excursions to local markets and show caves.
You may be required to drive company vehicles, so a driving licence would be an advantage.
This year is due to be our biggest year to date and as such this role is crucial in helping all our guests have holidays and adventures that they will never forget.
All applicants need to be at least 18 years old, there is no upper limit.
We can be very flexible for the right people. Some of our staff finish Uni and then come and join us and others want to stay later before starting winter season. There are some operational requirements for certain roles that we can explain at interview.
